Helping You Help
Your Child with
Down syndrome
I’m Susanna, a wife, mother of four, and a Clinical Specialist in Speech and Language Therapy, with 20 years of experience working with children and adults with Down syndrome.
I’m here to help you and your child. Let me show you how.
Zoom Session - 80 Euro
Is in-person therapy better?
Read what one Mam of a 3-year-old said,
“I have learnt more about how to help my child and seen more results after 5 Zoom sessions with you than any previous therapy”
40-minute sessions plus video observations
In Person Therapy - 100 Euro
(plus travel)
If you are looking for in person therapy I am sorry. I have a waiting list of parents looking for therapy and waiting to take any cancellation sessions.
School Consultation/Visit
150 Euro plus travel (or via Zoom)
If you are an existing client looking for a school visit please let me know and I will try and help you out. Please note that a school SLT programme is not provided. I want your school to work on your child’s goals in the curriculum, not in my activities. I will show them how to do this.
Our Busy Day
Does your child reply ‘nothing’ when asked what they did today?
What can we do about the disconnect between parents and children?
What if, we start young, what if, we start small and, what if, we try to do it naturally?
I want to help parents of all children, and especially those with a language delay, build communication and connection.
If that is something you want I’ve written this book for you.
The real story isn’t in the words on the pages, it’s in the conversation between you and your child.
Therapist Selected Toys
Are you a parent who hates bath toys due to the mould? Me too. These soft animals unscrew so you can clean inside as well as out.
Beautiful soft Tea set BPA free. Perfect for little hands and to get your child started with imaginative play.
Great activity for working on matching as well as creating awareness of your childs movement in space.
Available Courses
An online course designed to help you navigate the early speech and language development of your child with Down syndrome.
Access to module 1 of DownLOAD, my early intervention course. In this module you will learn about the stages of babble, how to encourage babble and why stimulating babble is so important for our preverbal children with Down syndrome.
A newly recorded version of my webinar presented live on March 7th. How to help your child get started with Easy Readers
